Viking International has recently expanded its express delivery service to include the Preston region, enabling customers to receive tyre deliveries within one hour.
Customers within a certain drive-time can request express delivery to receive their tyre orders within the hour in order to fulfil any last minute work. The service is available Monday - Friday with a cut-off time as late as 3.30pm. There is also a Saturday delivery option available from selected depots.
The express delivery service was introduced as part of operational improvements made across the organisation to improve customer service. Trialled in the Manchester and Glasgow areas in 2009, it received a great deal of positive feedback from customers and as a result, was rolled out to Liverpool, Glasgow, Gateshead, Manchester and most recently Preston, with Edinburgh to be introduced shortly too.
