Viking International’s online ordering facility for tyres, exhausts and cats continues to go from strength to strength.
User-friendly and faster than ever before, the site has been inundated with visitors and the number and value of orders have increased five-fold since its re-development last year.
Customer feedback has been extremely positive. Huw Lewis Tyres, a Viking International customer for a number of years, commented: “The site is an excellent selling aid. Customers’ transactions can be completed without having to leave the office. I can immediately see stock availability and offer customers an instant quotation plus guarantee next day delivery.”
Jem Tyres, another Viking International customer based in Bolton, also commended the site, describing it as “much more convenient and quicker since its upgrade.”
The site displays products by size, speed rating or price according to the customer’s preference, with special offers highlighted for ease of use.
A unique customisation tool also allows customers to adapt the website for their own use, uploading their own logo, changing the colour-scheme to match their own as well as displaying their own retail prices on-screen. New users need only log on and request a user name and password to begin.
